HIGA MONSTER deadlifts 500 lbs x 21 reps at the "Rumble for John" fundraiser (Bellevue, WA)

Huge honor to be a part of this charity event last night.  All proceeds from last night go to each of the 3 children of former Bellevue Police officer John Nourse.  He passed away on 12/1/2016 due to a long fight with Cancer.  Bellevue Police has set up individual College fund accounts for his son Quincy & twin daughters.

Much mahalos to our friend & fellow Bellevue Police officer, Colin Sullivan for letting me be a part of this.  I'm grateful and hope you raised alot of money for the children of John Nourse.
Here is the video of me doing the demo after the 4th fight of the evening. Repping the "V3 Training Shorts" by Bulky Boy Clothing.
Pressed a 200 lbs Log a few times, then deadlifted 500 lbs for 21 reps.

Much love to the family of Officer John Nourse,

"Animal Outreach" HIGA MONSTER visits two Kent schools today

My first stop today was at Meadow Ridge Elementary.
Spoke to the 6th graders and did a strongman exhibition for them.

Pressed this 125 lbs stone 10 times in front of the students.

Me & Saul Peterson (PE teacher)
Saul is the one who invited me to Meeker Middle School.

Snapping a picture with my friend, Rachael Bennet (2nd from left)
and the Vice Principal & Principal of Meadow Ridge Elementary.

It was truly an honor to speak to this kids before they go on Summer break, and do some strongman exhibitions in front of them.
Spoke to them about "Grit" and how important it is in our daily live, and hope they persevere through time times and overcome obstacles.

Great job today kids, I hope you have a safe Summer!
Stay focused and on track to stay out of trouble.

Aloha,
HIGA MONSTER

Our friend, Robbie Walden, performed last night at Druids Glen Taphouse.

Robbie has a new album out and he autographed a CD for us.  Go check him out in iTunes or Spotify...the Robbie Walden Band sings Country music and has been getting play on XM-Sirius "The Highway".  Its truly inspirational to hear how he wrote each song.

HIGA & P Diesel in the weightroom of Glen Mills School

HIGA MONSTER visits Glen Mills School powerlifting team (Pennsylvania)

Truly an honor to visit my bro, P Diesel, at this school tonight.
I flew in from Seattle to Philadelphia & my friend Shukin drove us straight to here.

I brought some Bulky Boy stickers, shirts & air fresheners to give to some of the Powerlifters.

Glen Mills School has won multiple High School state powerlifting championships.

Check out these Old Skool YORK 100 lbs plates!
They are so small compared to the 45 lbs plate on the left.

The Powerlifting Coaches gave me a Hoodie & 2 Polo shirts.
Thanks so much guys!

After a 4.5 hour plane ride, then speaking to the kids, it was time to EAT!!

"Mahalo" to P Diesel for having me and Shukin Moderski visit Glen Mills!
It was a life-changing experience and some of these boys had come up through so rough times in their lives, but I hope I made an impact and want to see them succeed in life.

Kick ass in the High School Powerlifting Championships tomorrow, Glen Mills!!

"Animal Outreach 2013" (Monroe, WA)

Despite a pouring rainstorm, Animal Outreach carried on today.

Kristyn Whisman was the one who invited me here.
She is the Dean of Education there.  Had to load the equipment in a bin before entering the Prison.

A big "mahalo" to Animal Pak for donating 20 pairs of wrist wraps and 10 lifting straps.
I donated it to the Prison Gym in hopes we make a positive impact.

Truly a mind-boggling experience to be inside the prison walls of Monroe.
Big thanks to Kristyn Whisman for the invite and the Superintendent of Correctional Services for allowing me to be a part of today's Diversity Fair.

"Animal Outreach" is tomorrow (Monroe Prison, WA)

HIGA MONSTER is going to the Big House tomorrow...

"Animal Outreach" is headed to Monroe, WA where the HIGA MONSTER will be joining forces with Kristyn Whisman (3 times-America's Strongest Woman).

Kristyn invited me to help her take part of the Diversity Fair that is happening in the Rec Yard.  We will let some of the inmates try a few strongman events such as the Log Press, Farmers Walk and Axle Deadlift.

Kristyn is the Dean of Education at  Monroe CC and I was honored when she asked if I could be a part of this event.
She did this 2 years ago and one of the best moments was when all the inmates were cheering each other on in the Strongman events.  White, Black, Latino or Asian...they all came together for a brief moment.

This will definitely be a new experience for me and I hope to somehow make a positive impact on the inmates lives with Kristyn.

Aloha,
HIGA MONSTER Bulky Boy strongman team

Pictures from "Seahawks Prime Time 2013" (El Gaucho- Bellevue, WA)

Having a Manny's Pale Ale with John Moffitt.

Autographed Steve Largent jersey was one of the silent auction items.

Brandon Browner (Oregon State alumni)  Go Beavs!

Richard Sherman

I called my friend, Sheldon Yasso who is a huge Seahawks fan back in Honolulu...

and Richard Sherman got on the phone to talk with him!

"Wassup braddah Sheldon!"

Seahawks GM & Executive VP, John Schneider.

More silent auction items...

Larry Fitzgerald autographed jersey.

All-pro center, Max Unger.
We tried to see how much $$ it would cost him to say, "GO BEAVERS" but he said no amount of cash would allow him to do that since he played for University of Oregon. LOL

Me & John Moffitt trying to be "Spokesmen for Manny's pale ale"...

Paul Ghaffari and me.  Paul invited me & my wife to this event.
Mahalo Paul!

Some of the guys from my work enjoying the fun.

Head coach Pete Carroll.

My friend Ben Kolpa was hounding me all night for my autograph...I finally gave in.

QB Russell Wilson threw some autographed balls to some donors.

Skyler got Russell Wilson to make a phone call too.

This was the one item that really intrigued me...

So we started bidding for it!  They only had 12 spots for the Combine workout.

Skyler was the 1st guy to bid for the NFL combine workout, cause he wanted to be ELITE!

Yes!  Kolpa & I are gonna run a sub 3 seconds 40 yard dash...

Michelle can't wait to see us do this on May 16th!

Me, Kolpa and Skyler.

Michelle and I before dinner was served.

Tackle Breno Giacomini serving Filet Mignons...

Looks "ono" to me!

Some of the ladies from my work...

Michelle and my friend YB Choi.

Backup QB Brady Quinn (far right)

Russel Wilson and Chris Purcell.

My wife under center with Russell Wilson.
The best picture of the night!! Classic!

Hey...she is under center for a really long time...what the hell?

I love this picture too.  Wilson was a really nice guy!

Coach Carroll made me snap the ball to him too!

Ended the night with dessert.
The banana bread pudding on the left was UNREAL.

"Thank you" Paul Ghaffari for inviting us to this wonderful event last night.  I can't stop thinking about it and it was an honor to be a part of this special fundraiser for Autism.
