Washington's Strongest School workout (Bellevue, WA)

Me & the Polynesian kids from "Southwest Youth & Family Services".
I will be the MC for the 1st "Washington's Strongest School" competition.  So far, there are 9 high schools signed up to compete.
This was the 3rd workout for these kids, and we are trying to prepare them for this contest that will be on May 22, 2010 (Seattle, WA)
I helped out with some Tire Flipping techniques and some of these kids did very well!
Aloha,
Grant Higa Bulky Boy strongman team

Warming up with some lateral bounding drills.  Gorgeous day in Bellevue!

Here are some kids from Juanita High School flipping  a 250 lb tire.

Doing some 45 lb plate carries around the building, to help build their grip!

Owner Daniel Jahn of "Maximum Sports Conditioning" giving some words of training advice to the kids that attended today's workout.

Finishing off the workout with some "Russian twists" for the CORE.
