HIGA works out at "The Lab-Eastlake CrossFit" and LiftBigEatBig.com
I needed to get a workout while I was by the University of Washington yesterday.
Matt Falk & Brandon Morrison from LiftBigEatBig.com invited me to The Lab.

Ready to rock & promote this contest!!
The venue is set next to the City of Des Moines marina & Puget Sound.
Animal Pak athlete, Ben Seath, was my MC for today.

Torri Self clean & pressed 12 reps with the 121 lbs Axle to win.
Nick Dewland of Canada trying to clean the 263 lbs Axle.
Shannon Gill from BSN hooked up my competitors & staff with some awesome goodie bags. Thanks so much for your support every year, girl!
Graciano Rubio flew up from Fresno, CA & won the Yoke Walk.
He carried 665 lbs for 80 feet in 14.85 seconds.
Pro LW strongman Zack McCarley and
Pro HW strongman Andrew Palmer were on hand to help me judge.
Amy Payne DESTROYED 28 reps with the 209 lbs axle!!!!
Jeff Pearson won his class with 14 reps of 452 lbs.
Kristyn Whisman yelling at Andrea Summers to finish the Sled Drag.
Vanessa Venturella won the Keg Carry/Sled Drag in the 180 lbs class.

He finished in 48.77 seconds.

Luke Ehlis DESTROYED the Prowler push in 34.88 secs for LW Men!!
Jeff Rose (Molalla, Oregon) won the "Willie Austin Memorial Award"
as the best strongman of the day. Congratulations to Jeff!
Jeff Pearson (Oregon) won the "Best Heart" award for Men.
Phoebi Crawford won the "Best Heart" award for Women.
She was always smiling! So upbeat!
