Day 1 of "The Cage" and "Arnold Sports Festival"
Taking 415 lbs for a ride. No belt, no knee wraps/sleeves, and no spotter.
I was able to do 25 reps.

Then, Kade Weber (Canada) deadlifted 700 lbs for 10 reps!!

The Arnold Sports Festival begins tomorrow (Columbus, Ohio)
It was an early departure from Seattle for Ben Seath & I.

HIGA MONSTER wins the "USPA Pre-Spring Fling" powerlifting contest
HIGA about to squat 744 lbs for a new Washington state record.
(Open Men and Masters Men 40-44 yrs, in the 308.5 lbs class)
I tried to come up with 761 lbs on my 3rd lift, but I couldn't finish it.
HIGA bench pressed 446 lbs on my 3rd attempt.
Ivy Lyles deadlifted 303 lbs on her 3rd attempt!

I got to meet this boy, Tanner, who is only 10 years old.

I was able to win the Open Men and Masters Men 40-44 yrs old divisions, and set new Washington state records in the USPA for the 308.5 lbs class.
Squat: 744 lbs
Bench: 441 lbs
Deadlift: 705 lbs
Total: 1890 lbs

HIGA MONSTER competes in the "USPA Pre-Spring Fling" powerlifting contest tomorrow. (Kennewick, WA)
Come by & check out the action if you live in the Tri-Cities, WA area.
I am going to lift in the Powerlifting contest tomorrow morning, and will try to match or better my lifts I just did at "Raw Unity Meet 7".
Then on Sunday, I will be helping referee the NAS strongman contest at the same venue. Word is that there are 52 competitors for the Strongman/strongwoman contest!!

HIGA MONSTER wins at "Raw Unity Meet 7" (Florida)
756 lbs squat, 446 lbs bench, 756 lbs deadlift & 1957 lbs Total.
Won the 308 lbs class as a Master.
