Just dropped my Mom off at Sea-Tac airport.

Had a great time seeing my Mom this past Christmas holiday!  We took her to a Seahawks game & the NCAA Final Four volleyball championship while she was here in Seattle.

Have a safe flight back to Hilo, HI,  Love you Mom!

Bull Stewart & Todd Christensen informed me that I can possibly break the American Record in the squat, so I told them that I would try to break it.

Trying to bury this 340 kilos/749.5 lbs squat...

Success!  I broke the American Record for Masters (40-44 yrs) with 749.5 lbs.

The previous record was 744 lbs by Beau Moore in 2008.

I was able to win the Raw Open & Masters Men classes.

And got the Best Lifter for Raw Open & Masters Men.

Post contest all you can eat dinner at Mika Japanese Buffet!

Medium-rare Prime Rib was on my 4th plate at the buffet.

Just trying to get more BULKY!

The "USAPL Fife Holiday Classic" is tomorrow!

HIGA MONSTER is ready to lift tomorrow!

I weigh-in at 12:30pm PST then we start our first Squat attempts at 2:30pm PST.

Come by the Fife High School gymnasium if you wanna check out some Powerlifting in the Fife, WA area.  There are a total of 60 lifters competing.

R.I.P. Mike Jenkins

Still shocked from the news this Thanksgiving morning...

RIP to big Mike Jenkins who passed away today at 31 years young.

Give a big hug & kiss to your family and friends.  My heart goes out to his wife and the Strongman/strength community has suffered a great loss.

I am truly blessed to receive this award.  Had no idea till I was notified a few weeks ago by Dione Wessels.
My name will be on this plaque, and I will get to keep it for 1 year.

"Mahalo" to all the strongman competitos who participated in the Washington's Strongest Apple, Central Oregon Strongman Challenge and the Bacon Beatdown Strongman this year.  You guys motivate me to promote better shows for you!

And a big "mahalo" to all of my family, friends, volunteers, and sponsors who have helped me in any of these shows in 2013.  Without you, a strongman contest cannot happen.

Halloween was 2 days ago, but my wife made him some Eyeball Cake Pops.

As you can see, he really enjoyed them after the contest!

Super proud of my bro!  He has been a Powerlifter for so many years, and then decided to do 2 Bodybuilding contests to prove to himself that he could do it.  And he won both contests within a span of 2 weeks!

Great job Ben!  Congratulations for your win last night!  Now you can train for Powerlifting again and get BULKY...
